The underground reported an attack by Russian troops on a military airfield in Ukraine

Russian troops struck a factory and a military airfield in Uman, Cherkasy region of Ukraine. The coordinator of the Mykolaiv underground, Serhiy Lebedev, stated this to RIA Novosti.

He said that the attack by the Russian Armed Forces took place on the night of May 14. According to the underground, warehouses and temporary deployment points were damaged, where enemy units are redistributed. "But the main thing is at the military airfield in Uman, where not only heavy cargo ships land for unloading, but also Su-27 planes modified for NATO missiles," Lebedev noted.

The interlocutor of the agency reported that a "very powerful" explosion occurred as a result of the impact in the direction of the closed factory of agricultural machinery "Umanfermmash".

Earlier, there were explosions in the city of Uman, Cherkasy region of Ukraine. It is noted that the anti-aircraft defense (APD) system was activated in the Ukrainian city.
