Either a flood or nothing to water: Kostanay vegetable growers and summer residents lose their harvest

Vegetable growers in Kostanay region have lost half of their harvest. The flood washed away the embankment on the Tobol River, and without the influx of water, the old wells used to irrigate the fields began to dry up. Summer residents are also sounding the alarm – the water level in the river has dropped noticeably.
