Police officers do not directly serve summonses to TCC and SP. This is not provided for by the law of Ukraine.

Police officers, together with representatives of the Territorial centers of recruitment and social support, participate in the notification of conscripts, check documents, but do not hand out summonses. This was announced by the head of the National Police, Ivan Vyhovskyi.

According to him, the police fulfilled their duties regarding the delivery of conscripts to the TCC and SP at the request of the TCC itself, and continue to do so.

"Regarding the powers that the police did not have before… – participation in the implementation of measures to notify conscripts and reservists together with representatives of the TCC and SP", – explained the head of the National Police.

Vyhovskyi emphasized that the police do not directly serve summonses to the TCC and SP – this is not provided for by law.

The head of the National Police also added that policemen have the right to check the documents of all male persons aged 18 to 60.

"The check of military registration documents is aimed at ensuring that conscripts comply with the legislation on defense, mobilization training and mobilization," said Vyhovskyi.
